WABI SABI bath & body oil - Yuzu / Magnolia / Hinoki
WABI SABI bath & body oil - Yuzu / Magnolia / Hinoki
Gemstone infused bath and body oil
“Wabi Sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection profoundly in nature, and excepting the natural cycle of growth, decay and death. It’s simple, slow, and uncluttered and it reveres authentically above all. It celebrates cracks and crevices and all other marks that time, weather, and loving use behind. It reminds us that we are all but transient beings on this planet – that our bodies as well as the material world around us are in the process of returning to the dust from which we came.” - Tadao Ando

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Olive oil has been studied as a great oil for post sun exposure. It is considered anti-inflammatory thanks to the sitosterol, as well as a good oil for very dry skin. It’s also a humectant. Also high in oleic acids, so a good skin cell regenerator.
Coconut Oil
Fractionated Coconut Oil is highly stable and resistant to oxidation.
Jojoba wax
Jojoba is a great oil for dry, sensitive, chapped skin as it has high levels of Vitamin E and will quickly smooth and soften the skin while providing a protective barrier. It penetrates the skin and hair quickly and easily which allows the natural nutrients to penetrate and start soothing the skin quickly. The tannins in this oil offer anti-oxidant and astringent properties. The octacosanol (C28), a fatty alcohol, helps to soothe very dry skin.
Rosehip Oil
Dates back centuries; Egyptians, Mayans, and Native Americans used it for its healing powers. Packed with vitamin c and essential fatty acids, improving skin tone and also give skin a refreshed look. Rosehip oil is also ultra-moisturizing and rich in vitamin A (aka retinol) so it may even help ward off signs of premature aging, such as fine lines and dark spots.
Ricebran Oil
High percentage of fatty acids and unsaponifiables and is one of the best sources of tocotrienols, an antioxidant that may be much more powerful and effective than Vitamin E. It is a mild oil perfect for dry, flaky, sensitive, mature and delicate skin (e.g. baby's skin), where additional moisture is required and is effective for keeping skin smooth.
SUNFLOWER OIL-
high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, minerals, and also has beneficial amounts of lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids.
SAFLOWER OIL-
High in linoleic acid, it helps calm skin irritation and flakiness. Its’ silky texture adds a desirable glide to massage by soothing skin, joints, and muscles.
