WHAT IS PARFUM?
PARFUM oil contains 25-30% essential oils and absolutes. They are facets of our selves, conjuring craving to connecting to our deepest primal desires, used ritually for comfort, escape, sensuality, sexuality, attraction. different moods and soul work.
WHAT IS NATURAL PERFUME?
Uses only natural essences, composed of essential oils, absolutes, concretes, tinctures, distillations & infusions of flowers, leaves, seeds,roots, bark and fruit as well as ethical animal essences such as beeswax, honey absolute, Labdanum, ambergris & Hyraceum using ancient aromatic traditions. Such as wine, Our natural perfumes and spirit waters may experience subtle changes in formulation from batch to batch depending on growing conditions, weather and location of the essences.
WHY ARE NATURAL PERFUMES CONSIDERED EXPENSIVE?
Our Natural & botanical perfumes are formulations of labour intensive extracted essences from harvesting to distilling to formulation and then bottling as well as blending with extremely rare and costly materials from around the world. High olfactory art that may take months to years to create a scent story.
HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?
Natural perfumes are a lot more acceptable, even for some people that tend to be more sensitive to scents. Anywhere from 2-3 hours, depending on the silage and base notes. They are worn by the person – rather than wear the person and Influenced by the wear's body chemistry, much more than synthetic fragrances which can overwhelm the nose
FRAGRANCE GENDER
Our scents are created without neccearily a gender in mind. In history, men would often wear notes of rose, which is usually associated with the female divine. The floral note will transform with the male skin and chemistry making it more earthy and sexy. Just as a women wearing are now drawn to more darker and greener scents such as vetiver and fir.
WHAT ARE BOTANICALLY SCENTED CANDLES AND WHY ARE THEY HIGHER IN PRICE?
Most candles on the market are made with strong synthetic fragrance oils which are formulated to strongly scent a room. Made from toxic paraffin, genetically modified veggie soy or habitat destroying Palm. We use only botanical & natural sources for our candles and no petroleum-based components that are used in most retail candles on the market. Don’t be fooled by the green washing of “natural” candle only because it is not made of paraffin wax does not make it “natural”. Our materials are more expensive than those used in petroleum and synthetically scented candles. We have created a candle using maximum scent load in a similar way that we formulated our perfumes with botanical and natural essential oils, resins and floral waxes infused in a propriety blend of coconut wax and beeswax from our local beekeeper and encased in a reusable beautiful midnight glass jar which gives the flame a magical purple glow.
TAPER CANDLE CARE
Or 10" colonial tapered candles are made of pure beeswax from our local beekeeper and charcoal pigment. Each candle has its own rustic charm due to the pigment and natural blooming that occurs over time. Blooming is the white powdery substance that coats the beeswax. Only 100% pure beeswax has this. Always keep away from drafts, children and pets. Due to the dark pigment in the beeswax, their may be staining on surfaces from dripped wax if not contained in a proper candle holder or dish. Always take care in blowing out the candle, avoiding potential wax splatter.
PACKAGING
Mindfully chosen beautiful reusable packaging. Our Swiss made midnight glass vessels are preservation of bio-energy protection from light, thus lengthening durability and potency of our products, which are then further protected in durable black matte paper tubes and velvet bags. The empty glass jars and boxes are fabulous for restoring teas, herbs, or gifting.

PROCESS
We are an artisanal small batch ground to bottle perfumery. Collecting from our own perfumers garden & wild foraging ingredients sustainably from our bio diverse PNW island, which are then hydro/steam distilled in either hand hammered Copper or stainless steel stills, tinctured or infused in nourishing oils. After years of sourcing we have also finally found the highest quality rare natural and botanical ingredients form around the world as well. Some of our formulations contain over 20-25 aromatic essences! Once ingredients are blended they are to rest and age for as long as possible. Usually 4- 8 weeks, then hand poured into our protective midnight glass vessels. We hand cut each and every special paper label and then box.
WHAT IS AN ACCORD
The basic character of a fragrance ( such as blackberry or Amber ) Perfume accords are a balanced blend of 3 or 4 notes which create a completely new unified odor impression.
WHAT IS A BOUQUET?
A mixture of similar and complimentary essences to create a specific scent profile, similar to an accord. eg. Rose Bouquet which includes additional and different types of rose, rose geranium, palmarosa etc.
ETHICAL MUSK
Aromatic raw materials of the antique perfumery that add a magical animalic note. The masks we use are completely cruelty free and ethical. HYRECEUM Pheromones are very fossilized rock like excrement formed from the urine of the Hyrax which is powdered and tinctured. Deep and rich in scent. AMBERGRIS is also an excrement from the Sperm whale, which floats on the ocean then is collected on the shores. Extremely rare and valuable as well. Its' pheromones are Very sensual sweet, powdery and almost tobacco.
SAMPLES
Our small samples are a great way try before buying a full bottle of perfume. This will give you a chance to experience how your very own body chemistry evolves with the scent.
AVAILABILITY
If due to high demand, an item is temporarily unavailable, the delivery will be delayed until new batches are ready for bottling, Usually we will already have ingredients infusing and resting. If any of the items you order are out of stock we will contact you and you may at that time request a credit for the out of stock items or have them placed on backorder. We will alert you if an unexpected delay occurs. Keep in mind that our and are line is handcrafted in small batches which are factors that can affect availability.
SAFTEY
Herbs and essential oils are very powerful plant medicines. Use caution if pregnant, breastfeeding or have preexisting medical conditions such as epilepsy, or kidney disease. Regardless if perfume is Natural or Synthetic, it may still cause allergies in certain people depending on their sensitivities. We recommend buying samples and doing a patch test. Most citrus oils are phototoxic (reactive in sunlight), which can cause a slight rash. Thuja rich oils as some cedar and sage may cause some allergies. We always use the utmost care when formulating with some of these beautiful oils.
NATURAL ISOLATES
100% NATURAL ISOLATE/EXTRACT - Essential oil fractions derived from plants.
SOLUBILIZER
Since oils and water do mix. We have added a solubilizer to help bind the oils to the waters. 100% PLANT BASED naturally derived surfactants and wetting agents to facilitate the addition of essential oils to the SPIRIT WATERS. Gives a milky look. Some shaking is still needed before each use. Even though there is now pure alcohol added to the SPIRIT WATERS, we wanted to have as much of the fragrant HYDROSOLS as we could in the blend, hence the addition of the SOLUBILIZER. Longer Scent silage. This ingredient is biodegradable, not tested on animals, non-GMO, and gluten free.
